Just a shout out to my readers...

Sorry it's been awhile, but I've literally been knee deep in Reiki and Tarot clients. I'm not complaining but it hasn't left a lot of downtime for writing.

Songs in the Key of Life published back in March and honestly, I'm humbled by the feedback. As most Indie authors know, reviews are hard to come by, especially from strangers. The majority of people read a book and move on to next after finishing without bothering to leave a review. I know because up until I started publishing my work, I was guilty of the same thing. It's ok, though. I ain't mad atcha. Like I said, I've done it myself.  ;)

I can truthfully say now, there's no better feeling than someone actually "getting" what you're saying and letting you know your story was worth the effort you put into writing it. Though there are only three reviews, sales have been steady and holding, another thing I'm humbled as well as grateful for. So, from the bottom of my dark, twisted little heart, THANK YOU!

Kenny will be getting his book soon, but at the moment, another guy has been begging for my attention. It's someone we all know well, having encountered him in one way or another at some point in our lives. That's all I'm going to say about that for now because he's still in the process of telling me his story and who knows, his voice may go quiet before he and I are through working together, so I don't want to hype it up until the first draft is complete. He wouldn't be the first guy to bail on me just when I thought we had a good thing going! We'll see.

Upcoming, though... If any of you have read back through these blogs, you'll know that I was previously working on a story about a pirate. Yes, yes, children... I know I fluctuate genres like a competitive eater at an All You Can Eat Buffet featuring International food... but my interests in writing are diverse and plenty, so yeah, Historical Romance factors in that mix along with Paranormal Romance, Contemporary, and Western Contemporary. The pirate book is finished. It's been edited and is ready for print except for one little detail... I can't decide on the title. I'm torn between three at the moment and also, like I said, I've been wrapped up in the other details of my life as well. Gingerly, I'm expecting that it'll release by mid-July but y'all also know usually when I shoot for a deadline, I waaaaay overshoot. I'm my own worst obstacle. Still, I'm saying mid-July.

I want to give a massive shout out to everyone who has been buying the books. All five of them are doing surprisingly well, especially in the International market; specifically in the UK, Australia, and India. US sales are picking up also, to which I'm ecstatic about.
It takes a lot for someone like me to share the stories my mind creates and I appreciate each and every one of you for spending your hard earned money and time you can't get back on reading what I write. It means a lot. Enough so that, yeah, I got a little weepy reading the reviews on SITKOL and it makes me really excited to continue to tell the stories of the rest of the Jagged Edge band members.
I promise to do my best not to make you wait a year for the next one.

Thanks again and I love you all.
